SPECIES SEEN

From 11/23/09 to 11/29/09 ~  60

Sixty species were found along the Anza Trail this week, compared to 53 in 2008 and 52 in 2007.  After almost total absence from the region last year, Lawrence’s Goldfinches (Rio Rico), and bluebirds have returned to the area.  Mountain Bluebirds were seen at the northern end of the Rio Rico walk, along with Lawrence’s Goldfinches.  American Robins are seen regularly along Santa Gertrudis Lane.
