SPECIES SEEN
11/3/08 to 11/9/2008   ~  49 seen

In the 49 species spotted along the trail this week, there were few surprises.

A Curved-billed Thrasher, so very common just a little north of Santa Cruz County, was an unusual sighting on the trail.

Rufous-winged Sparrows are plentiful at the moment, and Inca Doves were located near the southern end of Barrio de Tubac.

A rarity found the past two autumns was the Greater Pewee, but no sign of it or its "jose maria" song yet.
