SPECIES SEEN

From 12/28/09 to 01/03/10 ~  67

The list this week includes 67 species which is remarkable  for this time of year since I did not get to Rio Rico.  It is more remarkable when you add 9 species that eluded me at Santa Gertrudis.  The 9 species for the week not listed here are Rose-throated Becard, Ruddy Ground-Dove, Inca Dove, Gilded Flicker, Townsend’s Solitaire, Painted Redstart, American Crow, Yellow-headed Blackbird, and Varied Thrush.

If you had doubts, The Anza Trail in Santa Cruz County is a great place to bird.
