October 31, 2009 Boy Scouts in conjuction with the Anza Trail Coalition Trail Bosses the team cleared and protected a 300 yard section of the Anza Trail in Rio Rico, Arizona. Part of the protection was to barricade the trail with vertical posts to prevent motorized vehicle access. Boy Scout Christoper Carlson led the project in an effort to complete his Eagle Scout badge requirements.
