Coalition Works with Rio Rico Interact Club, Friends of the Santa Cruz River to Clear Bottle Damn
Volunteers worked hard for several hours in Santa Cruz County, South of Bridge Road in Tubac where an area in the river along the Anza Trail was constricted by debris. Seniors from Rio Rico High School Interact Club worked with the Coalition and the Friends of the Santa Cruz River for this event.
Sporting hip waiters the volunteers in the river worked with pool skimmers and pitch forks to wrangle the items that in the end 66 bags were filled! This was a challenging effort due to smaller particles that were difficult to retrieve.
